La calotta utilizza il KPA, proprietario di LS2. È leggera, ma forte. Facilità d’uso e prese d’aria superiori completamente regolabili sono portate per consentire il vero flusso attraverso la ventilazione.
Le visiere LS2 sono costruite con 3D Optically Correct , “A Class” Polycarbonate, un polimero dell’era spaziale con alta resistenza all’impatto, che evita la distorsione e offre la massima chiarezza. Per garantire una buona protezione il casco deve adattarsi alla testa alla perfezione, particolare attenzione deve essere prestata al design della forma del guscio e ai materiali per ridurre al minimo gli effetti di un possibile impatto. E’ la chiave per ottenere una perfetta vestibilità alla testa dall’esterno verso l’interno, così come il guscio, il configurazione del liner EPS, che dovrebbe corrispondere strettamente la forma della testa umana.

The LS2 Storm full-face motorcycle helmet offers the performance and features of helmets costing two to three times as much, but because it's built in the LS2 factory, LS2 is able to offer it at an incredible value. The shell uses the KPA, proprietary to LS2. It's light, but strong. Ease of use and fully adjustable top vents are ported to allow true flow through ventilation. LS2 visors are constructed with 3D Optically Correct, “A Class” Polycarbonate, a space-age polymer with high impact resistance, which avoids distortion and offers maximum clarity. To ensure good protection the helmet must fit the head perfectly, particular attention must be paid to the design of the shell shape and materials to minimize the effects of a possible impact.
